Based in Luenebug, Germany, Barenschee is a leading manufacturer of prepress equipment for the print industry. The equipment is an important link between the editorial office and
the printing press. Finished manuscripts, usually in the form of digital information, need to be transferred to aluminium printing plates that are the right shape and size for
physically loading into the printing press. This is where the Barenschee equipment comes in. The prepress workflow starts with the photochemical process that transfers the digital
information to the plates. The plates are then led by an automatic roller conveyor to machines that punch them and bend them into the right shape for loading into the printing
press. Further conveyors then transport the plates to a turning station for forwarding either to other prepress equipment or directly to the press.
What the customer thinks
"With the Interroll RollerDrives we can offer our customers a cost-effective prepress solution that is quickly assembled on-site, even in space restricted areas. The easy access
for fast maintenance ensures minimum downtime for our customers' time-critical applications".
